The intent of this blog is to promote human equality, human progress, human peace and justice, and optimism. To accomplish this, to encourage the discussion of ideas after identifying and discovering problems, and then creating positive solutions for "we the people," in order to provide for the "general welfare" and "domestic tranquility" of America now and its "posterity" into the future. To encourage an emphasis on separation of religion and state for all, no matter if this is for those "of faith" in a Maker / Creator (Deists, God-loving people, Christians, various people of spirituality) and atheists or agnostics.

I Luv NY

I “luv” NY. I am disgusted at the legislature not protecting products and business emanating from New York. I am told there is free license given to the distribution of California wines and beverages brewed by huge corporations like Budweiser.

For example. Where is Widmer wines? When I moved to Florida in 1983, after many years of the Nelson Rockefeller Regime and then replaced by Carey and the Cuomos, we watched as sales of New York wines in Florida were decimated – by California wines. Even in the restaurants today, IN NEW YORK STATE, try to purchase a glass of a New York State wine or New York produced 1911 hard apple ciders. Why are the huge wineries in California given favored treatment in New York? Why are we limited to big corporate conglomerate sales of hard apple cider? WHY?

Try to purchase 1911 apple cider in stores. Where is it? “We have Angry Orchard.” WHAT? Angry Orchard is produced by Budweiser, a huge corporate conglomerate. 1911 is produced by a company in New York from New York apples.

When IBM wanted incentives to remain in New York, what did Cuomo do about that, while other states were offering incentives to leave this state? Purportedly, it was just let go. It is time for a new day of economics and commerce in New York.It is time for someone like DeWitt Clinton who envisioned the development of commerce in New York with something people scoffed at and called “Clinton’s Ditch.” I am referring to the Erie Canal. According to a book titled, Wedding of the Waters, it was implied that even President George Washington was jealous of what Clinton was able to do in the 19th Century because there was no flat lands in Virginia to build a canal heading west. I would wager that it was the ticket George Washington used to convince New York to join with the other states in establishing the Federal Constitution, rather than refusing to join with the union of states we like to say is “America the beautiful,” rather than with a bunch of hawks ruining America with “bombs bursting in air.”

While living in Florida, I heard about Andrew Cuomo’s “economic zones.” When I returned to New York and asked about an “economic zone” in the Southern Tier, I was told, “What? What economic zone? Nothing has been done!” REALLY/

Where is the New York State Department of Commerce in promoting economic planning, growth, and development? When I was living in New York, we often viewed and heard the jingle for

With that jingle the New York Department of Commerce was identified. Where is it? Where are the “economic zones?” Where is the entrepreneurship? Instead, ICE deports a successful business owner of a Chinese restaurant while too many white folk with MAGA act like they are some kind of “victim” when all there is nothing but laziness and no appreciation for what our Forefathers in New York and the U.S.A. have passed on to us all these years.

And when I have asked what Assembly Person Christopher Friend has done for an “economic zone” in this area, I was told, “Friend has done nothing.”

Today, we there is a candidate who could be a TRUE FRIEND in the legislature. His name is Andy Fagan, retired director of the Tioga County Cornell Cooperative Extension. Consider a change. This change after how many years of the current “Friend?” Support Andy Fagan.
