When It Comes to Human Lives, Don’t Tell Me to “Agree to Disagree” Because I Might Reply with Damnation to You

It is not politics when it comes to human lives, human justice, human rights, and humanity living together in community and not as cliques which control other human beings. Lives have been lost in the Middle East due to an asswipe called the Man-baby who has no idea why he did it. That tells me he is a puppet of not only billionaires but also the Netanyahu Zionists of Israel. Zionism is a HAWKISH sect of the Jewish religion and I don’t like them as much as I don’t like those of the local Baptist Church and Christian Nationalists who believe anyone who does not believe as they do are heathens and heretics.

Those are NOT the words of a 1st Century Jewish man named Jesus Christ. My belief is that Christ is my Savior, in spite of the asswipes called Christian Nationalists who do not know the truth about Jesus Christ nor do they even understand the truth about Christ. So there. They claim we are all heathens. I just called that sect of asswipes heathens. Makes me feel better, don’t you know?

Zionism is actually similar to the 1st Century Zealots who were hawks and had one member of their group betray Jesus Christ and then he hung himself. His name was Judas Iscariot. Perhaps there was a purpose for Judas to betray Jesus Christ, but he realized his mistake and took his life, rather than repent for what he had done and change his ways. “Poor Judas” were two words used in song lyrics of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s rock musical, Jesus Christ Superstar. “Poor old Judas.”

Is it not time to say, “poor old Zionists and Netanyahu?” The ones who the Man-baby Trumpty Dumpty follows blindly along with Putin of Russia. The Man-baby proves that he has no brain of his own nor does he do any thinking to consider the overall picture. He is a puppet and only does what the Man-baby thinks will be best for his egotistical narcissistic ways.

In this environment, what we have during this Holy Week of 2026 is something similar to the “Saturday Night Massacre” of 1973 when Nixon fired several people due to the Watergate scandal. Just by coincidence (and I am saying ONLY coincidence, unless something proves otherwise), at that time (1973), oil prices were soaring so high that we lowered the speed limit on the interstates to 55 MPH, set up car pools, and made other attempts for consumers – you know, the DEMAND SIDE OF THE CAPITALIST MARKET – to save money and not be pushed when the envelope was pushed to extremes. One may recall driving four hours to attend college as a freshman and frequently car pooling on the trip to college and back.

What we have today, on Good Friday (3 April 2026) is a Judas-type asswipe in charge of this nation and we are there “when they crucified my LORD by killing other people. For Christ said, “those who do the least of these things to others, they do it to me.” The evil one with the Zionists are doing murder to the least of those in humanity because Christ believed in all people. Much to the chagrin of the Jews of his day, he spoke with people he was not supposed to speak with. A Samaritan woman. A prostitute. A leper. A hated tax collector. He said we need to love one another, which, according to a Lutheran pastor who wrote a book about James, the brother of Jesus, said is based IN the Jewish religion. Netanyahu and the Zionists, like Judas the Zealot, are NOT acceptable Jews, just as the American Christian Nationalists and the Man-baby in charge are NOT true Christians. Thus, this week, we viewed the “Holy Week Massacre.”

Furthermore Netanyahu and the Zionists demonstrate what it means with the oppressed becoming the oppressors. It happened with the fucking gentile puritans in the USA. It has happened with Roman Catholics, too. In 1948, the USA and its WWII allies were so comforting to the plight of the Jews in Europe, they helped them set up the nation we call Israel. The intent was not to make oppressors out of those who were oppressed, but to bring freedom to the Jews. When they fought, it was in defense of their land. This crap today is offensive and I mean obnoxious offensive done by oppressors who need to be shut down. Stop being like Judas Iscariot, you asswipes.

The person who told me, today, it was okay for us to “agree to disagree,” I say this. Your attitude sucks because I was addressing issues related to humanity not the fucking Man-baby and his fascist dictatorship which goes against humanity. It is NOT about politics when I am FORCED to pay a huge cost for injections in the eye while all other developed nations have FREE HEALTHCARE. Besides this consideration, there is another consideration. I spent almost 50 years paying into Medicare and could figure a large amount of money. It is a huge sum of money when it is added together, PLUS the fact I STILL INVEST IN MEDICARE TODAY WHILE BEING RETIRED. I SHOULD have access to the money so as to not pay huge amounts for healthcare. But due to the sabotage of people like the fucking Man-baby, we don’t get what we invested in a scenario of CAPITALIST ROI. What is ROI? Look it up in the dictionary, you dickheads. You MAGA shitheads. You fucking lousy ones who call us “Dumocrats” when we attempt to reason about CAPITALIST ROI. And where is MY MONEY GOING? To kill people in the Middle East, not for healthcare for the living. Fuck the USA military and the hawks running the Dept. of Offensiveness, not the Dept. of DEFENSE. Fuck all of you because you have pushed the envelope far beyond what our Founding Fathers would have accepted.

My apologies for becoming so irritated, but I am fed up with dismissing me with “agree to disagree” when it comes to human issues. That is fucking lousy thing to say to me. The stupid ones who cannot THINK are not even looking at things from an overall broad picture and are unable to discern right from wrong. We expect a secular government in the USA because we have FREEDOM OF RELIGION. Just because I use such words does NOT negate the fact that I believe in love for one another – unconditional love. Because we have a leadership which really sucks and tries to force their hawkish ways upon all of us – an attitude opposite to love and called hatred. Besides, I have seen more use of the “f” word on Facebook by people whom I have known rarely use the word. What is the fucking Man-baby going to do? Line us all up like the Jews in Europe and gun us down into mass graves? That is called genocide.

As a result, we end up in this nation with a fucking lousy leadership which crucifies our LORD. We shall overcome.

Republi-DUMBS, the Repugnant Party

During my years working for democracy and to make democracy work in Florida, New York, and the land I love called the United States of America / WE THE PEOPLE, I have often had, out of right field Republicans make some kind of derogatory remarks about Democrats, black folk, immigrants, LGBT+, Jews, and various ethnic groups. I have commonly just sat by and smiled and laughed without being contentious in return. MOST of the time I have done that.

Sometimes I have stood up for the groups of people being denounced. But nobody likes to get into a contentious argument, do they? And I believe the American Fascist Party (aka Republicans) just loves to be hostile and openly hostile with no provocation. They are bullies who wish to see how far then can go as bullies. I have also experienced that with bullies who love to bully the gay or “sissies” or “nancies” of the world like me. I have had to take it on the chin.

After all, I witnessed such taunting of black folk in upstate New York after the death of Martin Luther King, Jr. Out of the blue, white bastards would taunt black folk. I found it disgusting as a kid. I find it disgusting today.

In Florida, I worked with Democrats who did not give handouts to me with welfare or what not, but respected me enough to recognize my skills and talents enough to lead me on a path towards opportunities for employment. They did not just hand me a job. I earned the respect for jobs.

Originally (1983), when I moved from Upstate New York to Florida, I was living in the only Republican county in Florida: Pinellas County. I was registered as a Republican in New York. I was living during the time when Ronald Wilson Reagan (666) split the Republican Party from one of moderation with Gerald Ford to one of far right ideas and fascist attitudes of “my way or the highway.” Reagan began to weave a fascist dictatorship into the mixture while being a hypocrite in his opposition to the Soviet Union. He was not willing to work with others who disagreed with him and would denounce such people here in OUR nation made up of a community where consensus and compromise were necessary to solver America’s problems together and do so by recognizing how we all fit together. One example, for sure, was his opposition to R&D to solve this new thing (at the time) called AIDS. There were other examples in which he favored Jerry Fallwell and the disgusting group I shall title the “Christian Nationalists” at Liberty Road Baptist Church so as to begin to curtail freedom of religion in favor of a “nationalist” religion made up of hypocrites who were not familiar with the true Jesus Christ. The Republicans in Pinellas County at that time were still connected to the more moderate wing of the Republican Party and disliked Ronald Reagan for splitting up the party during the decade preceding the period I moved to Pinellas County.

I worked for Republicans in Pinellas County to help unseat a person who was a Democrat and sitting in the Florida House of Representatives. When we did door-to-door canvassing, we NEVER EVER had any Democrats in a gang of people who stalked us down the street and told us, “you are not allowed to go door-to-door, even if you are speaking with fellow Republicans.” Never did that EVER happen with Democrats. In the Democratic Party county of Palm Beach, in 2018 when DeSatan was running for governor against a black man, we had Republican gangs on the streets of Palm Beach County tell us, “you are not allowed to go door-to-door to speak with people.” We replied that we were only going to speak to Democrats, so yes, we are allowed to do that. But at that point, it made me feel very bad for going door-to-door in Pinellas County and work to unseat a Democrat in the Florida House. I felt ashamed of doing that after experiencing the BS of Republican gangs in Palm Beach County. That was one big example of what I have come to call the American Fascist Party (aka Republicans). There are other examples on my trip through life up to this moment in time.

I have had Republicans, out of right field (and I use “right” to make a point), call Democrats names. Names such as Dumocrats. I just had it happen TODAY while I was speaking with a Democrat. Typically, I have said nothing but to smile and laugh it off. The Democrat who accompanied me while being stalked in Florida, also a former Republican who HAPPENED to have lived and worked with me in Pinellas County, smiled and said, “yes we do have a right to speak with people and we shall continue.”

Today, my reply was to say, “the word Republican is found in the dictionary between the words, reptile and repugnant.” I have had it with the emotions of illiterate people who call themselves Republicans and get a kick out of taunting others. But unlike the black folk of the 1960s who were taunted by lousy low-life white folk, I try to follow more closely the pacifist remarks and examples of Martin Luther King, Jr. Words like “we shall overcome” and other pacifist remarks are in my vocabulary. The words about reptile and repugnant are somewhat passive remarks, but they only come AFTER someone says something like “DUMOCRATS.” I have NEVER pushed any words at Republicans which come out of “left” field (I might as well use the word left, although I am one of moderation). Never. I have written words about how the Republican Party is actually the American Fascist Party because I have evidence of things being this way with that one-time YANKEE political party which once worked more for moderation in life.

As Democrats in Florida, we never pointed our remarks of “reptile and repugnant” at Republicans. We simply would joke about it among ourselves. “Republican is in the dictionary between reptile and repugnant.” This was sort of like some of my gay friends who thought it to be funny, among ourselves in the gay community,” to speak in a facetious manner about homophobic bullies as being “fags.” Or the manner for black folk to lash out by use of the word “nigger” or “honkey” when speaking about those who disliked black folk.

And what about the Democrats? As a kid, there were the Yankee Democrats and the Dixiecrats. They all attempted to unite into one party called the Democratic Party. Unity was done by means of compromise and finding common ground.

However, the Dixiecrats were a bunch of turds in Dixie with white skin who promoted Jim Crow and lynching of black folk. They were fascists, too. Reagan pulled the Dixiecrats into the Republican (word between reptile and repugnant) Party, thus building a path for the American Fascist Party (aka Republicans). The Dixiecrats are white turds “still fighting the civil war,” as my dad would say in disgust. And Reagan was pulling them into formation as the American Fascist Party while using the name “Republican.” I would more likely call it the Repugnant Party.

It is interesting, too, that there is evidence that Man-baby Trumpty Dumpty has deliberately been appealing to the illiterate emotional ones of America. He does so because he knows they can be enticed by stupidity and lies and not know the difference. MAGA fits this bill very well. I have a shirt which says “the Bill of Rights is not about emotions.” MAGA Maggots and the Man-baby are about emotions and the feelings they have for people who do not fit their framework. Hitler was like that. Mussolini was like that. Hirohito was like that. Stalin was like that. Castro was like that. Mao Tse-Tung was like that. Daniel Ortega was like that. Putin and the leader of Hungary ARE like that today. Leaders in Brazil and Venezuela have been like that. The Taliban is like that. Shall I continue with the list which emanates primarily from HISTORICAL examples from which we as Americans should be LEARNING and not returning to re-live such crap in life, due to emotions.

Hitler’s propaganda minister, Goebbels, said, “if a lie is told over and over again it eventually becomes the truth.” Emotional illiterates don’t know the difference between the truth and lies, so they are easy to impress with lies being told over and over again when it appeals to their emotions. Intelligent people are suppressed by any leadership which resembles Hitler and Goebbels because they are intelligent enough to know the differences and do not become emotional experts or “drips under pressure,” as the illiterate ones are. The Man-baby and MAGA maggots are fearful of such intelligence because they know they can be challenged. So how do these idiots respond? By calling Democrats “Dumbocrats” and doing so with no provocation. Just as the dumb white kids of the 1960s in New York tried to taunt the black kids, these unintelligent illiterate dolts today attempt to taunt those who are intelligent because the dolts are in fear of such intelligence.

In days gone by, we often described those attempting to be “leaders” but lacked intelligence as experts or “drips under pressure.” The Man-baby and MAGA maggots, in attempting to consolidate their power, are nothing but “drips under pressure,” thinking they are experts. They are “experts” only in the narrow-minded knowledge they have and the inability to take a broader overview of situations and how they impact WE THE PEOPLE and not to be narrow and impact ONLY the racist, bigoted, prejudiced billionaire oligarchy.

In my life and career, I have had many Democrats, and not JUST leaders, have had a positive and productive impact on me by providing guidance for the path of life. I have not expected handouts, but certainly I believe and have experienced many people who need that safety net which is provided by SNAP or welfare or other means. On the other hand, I have had leaders of the American Fascist Party (aka Republicans) who have taken away from me. Shall I name people? In Florida, Jeb Bush, Rick Scott, Ron DeSatan, Marco Rubio, Pam Bondi. Just a few names but there are more. I can go into detail for all of them. I can also mention Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, and the Man-baby Trumpty Dumpty. I have watched as Fascist Republicans have pulled the rug out from beneath other Republicans. For instance, the “victims” of such actions have been Charlie Crist and Mark Foley of Florida. In some instances, I could say I am also a “victim” of such actions. The Man-baby has even attempted to do the same with John McCain. There are others. In a communist dictatorship such actions would be called “purged from the party.”

Then there are those in the American Fascist Party (aka Republicans) who, they believe they can rant and rave against Democrats and no one should challenge them on their ranting and raving. Truly, this is an example of fascism and the idea of “my way or the highway” dictatorial procedures. No communication because it’s “my way of the highway.” Attempt to calmly ask the question, “please explain your dislike.” Reply. “I don’t know but I hate them.” But gee. If I had someone I did not like or did not respect, I could explain the reason why. Reply. “Don’t talk to me about this.” But gee. YOU were the one who brought it up and now you just expect of me to accept what you say and with no evidence or facts at all? I call such people “sick puppies.” Whether they are relatives or not, they are “sick puppies.”

As for the American Fascist Party (aka Republicans) stealing from me, it began with the employee stock I owned. It was necessary to steal it from me so as to make sure the largest stockholder pockets were bulging with money. There are more examples I have to offer, too. But let me just limit to this one.

At the same time I lose money, I have to listen to Jerry Fallwell or other hypocrites in the “Christians Nationalists” push this idea that the “Ten Commandments should be posted on government buildings.” “Thou shalt not steal” is the Eighth Commandment in the Bible, out of the Ten Commandments. Yet, it is these religious groups who endorse the actions of the American Fascist Party (aka Republicans) where stealing by the leaders and the billionaire oligarchy is done all the time. The mere words of “trickle down” by Ronald Reagan indicates a “reverse Robin Hood” trend in which “free markets” opened up the thievery by such folk to do as they want in killing capitalist competition, limiting what people over a certain 6-digit income should contribute into the FICA (Social Security), lay off people and take their stock holdings (as with me), purchase favors of our government (buy elections with PACs and Citizens United) so as to obtain tax credits that hard working Americans who seek opportunities for success, don’t get, and layoff employees so the CEOs get a better salary (it’s not about profit) and we can watch as such CEO salaries have increased by about 1000% over the time that living wages for all have decreased.

Overall, I am fed up with people who make claims that Democrats are “dumb” and do the same thing those in control of the American Fascist Party (aka Republicans) do. You are wrong about this and I can prove it. But again, the reply is that “I am not going to listen to you because you might win over my argument.” Really? The only ones who win or lose are those in our society overall. Not me. Not the person who might have a warped outlook of Democrats, so warped they would call us “Dumbocrats” or other names and NOT be willing to humble themselves to learn the facts of the situation. I just outlined the facts over my lifetime. And the only Democrats I MIGHT not care for as much are those who are too wimpy to take a strong stand against the American Fascist Party. Sure. It is nice to be diplomatic and a statesperson.

When the competition is the American Fascist Party (aka Republicans) and not a political party which believes in democracy, the very form of government which, for nearly 250 years has made this nation great, in spite of some imperfections along that timeframe, one can no longer be so diplomatic. And that is a tough statement to accept, especially as a TRUE Christian who rejects the heresy of the “Christian Nationalists.” If you are younger ones who have NOT been taught the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution or the words of the Gettysburg Address, you are wishing for something easier in life so you fall prey to the lies of the Man-baby and the American Fascist Party (aka Republicans PLUS the MAGA maggots). Be careful what you wish for, though. Because while consolidating power for a fascist government, in the end, you could end up as Niemoller said of Hitler (and there are different versions of this):

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
     Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
     Because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
     Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

This is not about a “persecution complex.” It is not about paranoia. It is about considering that we are all human beings who seek opportunities in life. We are all human beings and thus do not live by a barbaric Machiavellian message of “the end justifies the means.” We are all human beings who can be moral and ethical enough so as to obey the 8th commandment about thievery against others, as the billionaires today have done and are attempting to consolidate their power with one political party: the American Fascist Party (aka Republicans) or the Repub-DUMBS or the Repugnant Party.

The leadership for the Repugnant Party comes from the money-loving suckers at the top who are evil. The leaderships for the Democratic Party does NOT base its power on the billionaire group. It may HAVE some billionaire supporting it and for reasons of supporting the grassroots, not just themselves (in many cases). The Democrats work to obtain grassroots money. Sadly, Man-baby Trumpty Dumpty wants to eliminate such grassroots financial support becasue he and MAGA maggots are cowards and afraid of competition just as much as the “free market” supply-side Reaganomics folk are afraid of capitalist competition so they use “free market” as a free ride to form monopolies. The description given here is fascism.

The GOP with their fascist MAGA maggots are “too dumb” and the dummies “will fail.” These dummies are a bunch of people with foul mouths who taunt others and such perverts will fail. They are the dumb ones, not the Democrats. Republi-DUMB.

That makes the person today who called Democrats “dumbocrats” to be a repugnant Republi-DUMB just for making such a remark which is not based on facts, only emotions. I have outlined the facts here. And I say to repugnant Republi-DUMBs (of course, your lack of intelligence and you are unable to, as with an alcoholic, acknowledge being such), if you should experience any Democrat who is NOT like I describe here from my many years of experience, then let us know. Seriously. I wish to know who they are who are so troublesome to your dimwitted illiterate emotional ways to such a degree you feel you must make a derogatory remark to a person like me who was simply being positive about life and working towards what is best for all humanity, human equality, and human justice. In other words. Principles for humanity. A DEMOCRAT for a democracy and a DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC, as our Founding Fathers defined for us and has worked for so many years, in spite of any failures along the road of the timeline of the existence of this nation.

f you think we are “dumb” because we refuse to go along with the billionaires who run our government, then you are wrong because we stand for America “… with liberty and justice for all.” And be careful for what you and other young asswipes wish for (who lack appreciation for what we have in this nation) because if you were to live in a fascist nation with a fascist government and you were to call the leaders of that government, “dumb,” you might be executed or lined up with others and shot down in genocide. THINK.

Steppin Out

On Create TV (PBS Binghamton broadcast channel 46, WSKG), there is a program about travel around the world.  The purpose of the program is to learn about how people live in various places foreign to us and what other cultures are about.  It is titled Steppin Out.  The host is a Cuban-American guy who grew up in Miami named Joseph Rosendo.  We can learn quite a bit.  

Rosendo ends every show with the following quote from Mark Twain:  “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.”

I am now Steppin Out. The topic is white folk here refusing to become familiar with black folk.  

Sadly, I think this Twain quote needs to be repeated over and over again for white folk here in Tioga County.  The following is the reason why I say this.

Too many times, I have heard some put down black folk in a derogatory manner.  They call black folk in a derogatory manner, “Nigger.” Whether it is local black folk or President Barack Obama, the derogatory addressing of black folk has been used in Upstate New York and by more Upstate New York people in Florida than white folk from other areas (like Ohio or Boston), we have heard such lousy words.  Even a good friend from Crane School of Music, a Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia fraternity brother, who grew up in the Seneca Lake region, used such language, to my great surprise and resulting disgust.  I guess I was foolish to ever ignore whether he would have done that in college.    

It goes further than just a derogatory word. How about a statement degrading the practice of having Black History Month each February?  (Sometimes in the same sentence, to degrade having Women’s History Month each March).  One of my replies to such statements is to consider the number of times each year we celebrate White History Month each year?  The summer Friday night NV Depot concerts.  White culture history on display.  White music played and rarely any black culture music from Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Duke Ellington, Count Basey, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Little Richard, Chuck Berry.  We hear white country music and other genres of white music.  I don’t say this to complain about the choices.  I say this to challenge anyone who puts down the February Black History Month Celebration, for it was at such celebrations at the college where I was professor and helped schedule lifelong learning events, where we heard the Billy Holiday song about “fruit hanging from trees” and learned about Jim Crow lynching which hung the “fruit,” or innocent black folk, from trees in Dixie.  Even at such a Friday night concert, we departed when there was a song about “white” Dixie and the Dixiecrats and the crowd stood.  We only stand for the unity represented by the “Star Spangled Banner,” as much as we don’t like “bombs bursting in air…” We also stand for the “Pledge of Allegiance” where we repeat words like “for liberty and justice FOR ALL…”  This is not an opinion, it is the correct ATTITUDE.  It is not politics.  It is the correct ATTITUDE.  

Our Newark Valley Historical Society does a wonderful job in promoting history of this valley in Tioga County of Upstate New York.  It maintains the Bement-Billings Farmstead.  Who were the owners of the 19th Century Farmstead?  They certainly were not black folk.  So each year, we have the Apple Fest.  We celebrate white culture and its history every year, whether at the Apple Fest in October or all year long when the museum and grounds are open to the public.  

Even Johnny Appleseed (real name John Chapman,  1774-1845) was a white man.  

I find it disgusting for those who portray “victimhood” upon white people as a result of “Black History Month.”  

As for the history part, should we shut up about a WHITE ancestor to Ezra Cornell (and my own white ancestor), Thomas Cornell, Jr., when he was WRONGLY executed in Rhode Island in the late 1600s?     Yet, a lousy evil man we call DeSatan of Florida tries to stop the history of black folk who have faced the same thing.  Shall we re-write the Cornwell / Cornell history?  Go to hell if you think we should because such people I only hope they rot in hell and their hatred goes with them.  

Sadly, the white people’s area up here in the valley of Tioga County, NY, has some really lousy looking homes which are kept in bad shape. Why? It is a lousy solution to just tear them down. Europe has buildings dated centuries before the buildings here, but are still able to keep them in decent shape and looking good. What is done here? Nothing as they sit there in a dilapidated and disgusting shape. Are white people not proud enough to make things look better? They were when I grew up here in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. What has happened?

In comparison, I recall a white supremacist driving a shuttle to the airport in Florida. We drove through a very attractive looking neighborhood. The shuttle driver began to explain how the neighborhood was a neighborhood of black people. He comments “how lousy the neighborhood looks.” I spoke up and explained how I fail to see how lousy it looks because the houses are well kept, the lawns looked so very good, and the entire area was very attractive.

As I think about that dumb lainbrained shuttle driver and his comments, I think about white neighborhoods here in the valley of Tioga County and how lousy and disgusting the buildings and lawns look. I can also compare the village of this valley which had a business district destroyed by fire in 1981 and how it looks so lousy in this “white” area with everything empty and nothing re-built. Even fires in places like Toronto when it contained a much smaller population were re-built. But not in this “white” community here where it looks dismal compared to the neighborhood of black folk a white supremacist shuttle driver made noises of complaints.

For those who know how to do Steppin Out, such hatred of other cultures is an attitude, not politics, opinions or anything else.  And I might add that I would wager that Joseph Rosendo (host of Steppin Out) would be opposed to the Man-baby’s use of troops in Cuba.  

Mark Twain, who lived some of his life in Elmira, NY, said:  “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.”  War, weapons of mass destruction, and troops are fatal to innocent people and children.  Mark Twain is to be respected, with his moral and ethical attitude.

Rural Right Wing?

Dear Editors:

While your assessment of a movement by rural folks to the right wing is a good assessment, I have to ask what people are going to do to stop this?Just sit by and let it fly?

People in Tioga County have been controlled by the Republican Party.  They complain and try to put the blame on Democrats.  Why?

One person thought he was being really smooth by calling Democrats “dumocrats.” 

Yet, if one asks people why the blame on Democrats, there is no real reason and one finds out people are finding a strong and pervasive groupthink.  A groupthink which needs to be stopped.

When pessimism strikes about this area being impoverished, I have to ask why? After all, the responsibility lies with the local Republican Party and only fools would reach out to blame others in Albany.  Let me tell you about the complaints many of us had in a Democrat-majority county in Florida about the Republicans in Tallahassee which have controlled that state with one party, like a communist state, for 20 years or more.  Was that all this Republican-turned-Democrat did but to only do the blame game on the Repugnicans in Tallahassee?  No.  We came together at the local level to do what was needed to be done to solve our problems. 

Ask someone why they don’t like Nancy Pelosi and they usually don’t have an answer because they are like a bunch of lemmings being led off a cliff. 

To continue to vote for Republicans and not be able to differentiate right from wrong is horrific.  Slander by Molinaro as he tried to use scare tactics to get people to vote against Josh Riley or else be so scared they don’t go in and vote at all.  I observed that same thing happening in Florida, over and over and over again. 

When people complain and then go and vote Republican, they are mentally ill.  For they don’t get it.  They don’t realize that to do the same thing over and over and over again, expecting different results, is a mental illness. 

For me, I judge the candidates according to telling the truth and not just slandering opponents.  I see this more in the Democratic Party.  In fact, Josh Riley’s commercials merely told of his accomplishments.  Molinaro refused to debate issues with Riley and put commercials forth with slandering of Riley.  But when I see what is being put forth by a lousy leadership in the Republican Party, I cringe and look for something better.  That ain’t the Republican Party with fools who are mentally ill voting for the same thing over and over again.

I was once a Republican.  My family line was Republican, back to the years following the Civil War.  But in Florida, I had the rug pulled out from beneath me, several times, by greedy, snotty, vicious Republicans.  Note I call them Repugnicans.  It was the Democrats who helped give me opportunities to move on.  So when people stupidly put down Pelosi or call Democrats, “dumocrats,” I am insulted.  Why?  Because I have an appreciation for those who helped provide opportunities, not handouts, for me.  In the cases when the rug was pulled out from beneath me, I often thought about how, when times are tough, the tough get going. 

I see too many people in rural America who have no idea as to how to meet the challenges when the rugs get pulled out from beneath them. They don’t know how to be tough  and get going in order to solve our problems by considering the best proven practices. And being tough does not mean a proclamation of being “god” and using a gun or violence.  They just sit with a mindset for “that was how we always have done it.” 

That mindset does not work, so get tough and find something else.  Being reactionaries means just let the chips fall where they may, rather than being proactive for the future. 

Examples of local people who were more proactive are two very fine gentlemen:  George F. Johnson and Thomas J. Watson. These two plus many others, too.

A white racist bigot said to me, in opposition to what I write to light fires to get people moving to move forward, said to me:  “get a grip.”  I have a “grip.” That “grip” is on standing firm in my humanity convictions (i.e., human justice, human equality, human communities, etc.) and finding the best practices, not ideology, to solve our problems.    

My writing is more important than a letter to the editor and restricted to a certain length.  My writing falls in the op-ed or commentary “My Turn” category.  My writings have been curtailed since Trump took over the Republican – no REPUGNICAN – Party.  An example of fascism in America for which voters should be turning away from such turmoil and differentiate right from wrong.

Fascist Big Oil & Bigots Need to Leave this Nation so we can Coexist in a Democracy with True Capitalist Competition with Supply & Demand, Investments & ROI

Fascist big oil working to mesmerize people about how their answer is the only answer – only one way. Monopoly. Perhaps wanting to take money away from investors who believe in a progressive future and are not liberal, but are being smeared. These ones are fearful cowards who are not able to compete. Talking and talking and talking face to face and never willing to listen. This has been my experience with the fascists around me. I am sick of this and think these people need to go hide in a hole somewhere. Fascist big oil is scared. They don’t like oil companies which are investing in the future with research and development to make alternative fuels possible. And jobs are the only thing, from Keystone to polluting oil companies who don’t give a damn about the environment with more and more oil drilling. Talk jobs. What about the American way of building a better mousetrap? What about investing in and incubating entrepreneurs who can build for the future? Instead, these fascists block anything that goes against oil, the slick pollution which has given us climate change and global warming, from the time the Amazon forests were cut down and took oxygen out and all the other things. Progressive, not liberal. Where is the trust buster when we need him? Where is the Progressives of the Progressive Bull Moose Party – Teddy Roosevelt. Rare to find such people in the Republican Party, but primarily in the Democratic Party. Only fascist cowards and bigots would put forth the corrupt practices so as to push their agenda. 😀 🧐🤓😁😎

Sense of Humor About Google Spam

How does Google email handle spam filters and messages coming as “subscribed” when a person never “subscribed?” Inquiring minds wan to know. Because Google does not have computer systems to manage this well.

I am opposed to fascist Republicans which control the political party to which I once belonged. Shall I name names? If you wish.

So, I am receiving many email messages.

Just lately, many messages which are friendly to my cause are being sent to spam and I have to release them from spam. I spend time doing this and I have better things to do with my time. This is how technology has made my life better and junked good jobs for humans to receive incoming calls, rather than computers? Humans who are able to get a step in the door at a corporation, learn skills and move onward, if they desire. How far do computers move?

Just lately I have been receiving messages from Trump folks which I disdain. They do not often go to spam. And when I check them, I notice I have a link to “unsubscribe.” I did not subscribe to these messages, so to have a link to unsubscribe is absurd.

Perhaps this is all a form of mockery. So those who wish to mock me, have a great time in laughing about it as your form of humor. I will tell you where such people with their sense of humor should go. I will zip my mouth on that and only hope they get spattered with manure and rotten tomatoes.

A FASCIST Idea From Lovers of Hitler and Mussolini: America, Love it or Leave It

This is how bad search engines have become, whether Google or DuckDuckGo. There was a time when I was able to find information about how to write a formula in Microsoft Excel or LibreOffice Calc. The formulas were to calculate the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th Wed of each month, projecting the dates into the future because the Wednesdays are important for my finances. I saved the formulas. For most of the formulas, they still work. All of a sudden, I experience a NAME? error in the formula to calculate the 1st Monday. I have changed nothing in the names in this particular formula nor for any of the others. The others work as usual. This one gives an error when I changed nothing in the spreadsheet which contains these formulas. This is a common thing. Having settings changed on us on computers, laptops, or smart phones when we did not do the change and have no idea as to find the setting or the change and have to spend hours trying to find out and no one in the tech industry gives one damn about helping their fellow human beings. Me, me, me first and being consumed only with me and not giving one damn about others. You don’t believe me? Walk in my shoes to see for yourself.

So. I search for the help aids I once had to write the formulas. Whether I use Google or DuckDuckGo, and search with word such as “calculate” (which is what I used in years past), I get, “how to find…” I don’t want how to find, so I use what once existed in search engines to eliminate “find” from search. It was the word NOT preceding, in this case, find or the “-” sign to indicate NOT. In other words, -FIND. These search mechanisms once worked. I know. I used them for many years after retrieving instructions provided by Google in those years. Today I can add NOT find about a dozen times in the search and the first result, whether with NOT or without NOT, the first result is FIND.

People. I spend hours and hours trying to find the answers, something I once DID NOT do in spending the time. Yet, when I explain this to others in this GODDAMN me-first society of Ebeneezer Scrooges, I get this… for example, excess spam in Google email or other gmail functions I know about…… TRY THIS, as if I am some kind of idiot and don’t know enough to TRY THIS… I did. Over and over again, plus many other ways to attempt to solve the problem. None work. So don’t treat me like I am an idiot who does not know what I am doing when my statements are to find a team of people in this nation who are interested in solving the problem for more than just “me, me, me first.” If I solve a problem, I share it with others and it is NOT just for myself.

Another example. Walgreens has bought up many rural drug stores which were once serving their communities with pharmacists who were local, owned their own pharmacy, and cared about the customers and the community in the way George F. Johnson showed care and concern when he founded and ran Endicott Johnson Shoes. Walgreens sucks because it does not care about how best to provide prescriptions for the communities on weekends. They shut down on weekends in rural areas. In one community east of Binghamton, NY, the people there got up in arms and protested the decision. The situation in that town got put on channel 12 News from Binghamton. Here in Newark Valley, the ones who complain are nothing but complainers, even though it’s the same situation in another rural town where they did not just fall over and play dead.

We are such complainers that a pharmacist told me to “just leave this nation.” “I would if I could, was my reply.” And then I departed.

I would if I could means this: if I could take the MEDICARE MONEY I invested over some 40 years in a CAPITALIST way (and this was done by means of taxes, a socialist way, so Rick the Prick Scott now in the U.S. Senate can claim its socialism and STEAL, STEAL, STEAL from our money we INVESTED in Medicare. The SOB Rick the Prick Scott has stolen from the people in other ways, too. I can go into many examples it was done, for the sake of big oil of Texas.

But Donald Trump likes this prick of a SOB Scott, but says, “even pleading the 5th amendment means someone is guilty.” How many times did Rick the PRICK Scott plead the 5th when the trial against the fraudulence of Rick the Prick in Florida? Another words, it’s ok to plead the 5th if you are wealthy, like a Trump or a Rick the Prick, but if a Democrat who does not have as much money, it’s wrong to plead the 5th.

Once again, I diverge in order to try to hammer out my point. I don’t give a damn any more whether I diverge or not. Because either way, no one gets my point.

Medicare tax and FICA tax have given an excuse for the wealthy to call this “socialism” when it is NOT socialism. I can prove that it is LONG-TERM CAPITALIST INVESTMENTS INTO LOWER-RISK POOLS OF MONEY FOR THE COMMUNITY OF PEOPLE CALLED THE USA. Shall I repeat this or is someone going to find SOME WAY to shoot holes in what I say, rather than consider the IMPORTANCE of what I say. OK. Repeat. Medicare and Social Security are LONG-TERM CAPITALIST INVESTMENTS INTO LOWER-RISK POOLS OF MONEY FOR THE COMMUNITY OF PEOPLE CALLED THE USA.

I am even hearing lunkheads who are among the common folk and put down the developments of alternative fuels, solar, and so forth, in defense of the pricks of oil men in Texas. They have companies which are SOLELY oil and don’t want any competition from those who promote the continued subsistence on oil which pollutes the atmosphere. What about those of us who invest in OIL companies which are also doing research on the alternative fuel sources? What are we, chopped liver who need to leave this nation because, as asshole Texas oil men and Abbott or Cruz of Texas, think, “it’s my way or the highway” – fascists. We who lived during the Vietnam war era, started with a false Gulf of Tonkin Resolution for the sake of power over oil, recall people saying, “America, love it or leave it.”

I say to the GODDAMN freaking fascists like Trump, Rick the Prick, Ron DeSantis, AMERICA, LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT – an America for which we need to appreciate what was given to us by wealthy people who actually loved this nation over “me, me, me” and being like Scrooge was.

I belong to the Sons of the American Revolution, as does Jeb Bush of Florida. Jeb has no idea what that means, another SOB from another SOB family. My ancestor upon whom I joined, Capt. Frederick J. Schoonmaker, was a wealthy man during the time of the American revolution. He did not try to avoid taxes. He CONTRIBUTED TO THIS FLEDGLING GOVERNMENT AS A MEANS TO INVEST IN THE FUTURE OF AMERICA. HEAR THIS OR DO I NEED TO SPEAK MORE LOUDLY? THE PARK SYSTEM, WHICH TRUMP AND OTHERS WISH TO DESTROY, WAS CREATED AS A METHOD TO CONSERVE WILDLIFE IN AMERICA. THAT PARK SYSTEM WAS CREATED WITH THE HELP OF WEALTHY PEOPLE IN AMERICA WHO WANTED TO PRESERVE OUR WILDLIFE AND NOT MAKE MONEY BY POLLUTING IT.

Even, Teddy Roosevelt, a GOOD WEALTHY POLITICIAN, wanted to conserve the wildlife of American. Interesting enough, my Capt. Frederick Schoonmaker is from a family inter-married with the wealthy Roosevelts.

Franklin D. Roosevelt was smart in starting the pooled funds for Social Security. He was stupid in calling the revenues into Social Security the FICA tax. it is NOT a tax but a long-term investment into a government-run pooled resource with lower risk than individual accounts.

My dad told me he had essentially lost his shirt with individual retirement accounts. His losses, according to what he told me, were in the 2008 recession, a recession run by Shrub. He HAD to rely only on his investments by way of FICA (plus VA benefits for health where his return on investment was only because he served his nation and no money invested in it). Yet it was Shrub and others who privatized Medicare and made it the nightmare of a system it is today, for the benefit of the wealthy. I like to eat donut holes and clear them off a plate of donuts.

So, the complaints about the hours of a rural Walgreens, the convoluted practices of the Medicare donut hole for common folk in their older age, glucose monitors REQUIRED by —- WHOM? That is a good question —- WHOM —- Medicare or Medicare Excellus private insurance —- WHO is at fault? When the glucose monitor FORCED down our throats is a lousy one which I can take numbers repeatedly in a matter of a minute or so and every number comes up lower by several points. And asking WHY I see a monitor in Walmart which says ON THE BOX, “paid for by Medicare Part B, but am told by Walgreens that there is only ONE monitor paid by Medicare – the lousy Libre one. And when I ask about the monitors, I get told to call the company. Yeah. Call and wade through hours and hours of speaking to computers before getting a human being. I told this pharmacist that when my dad owned a business here, he did not tell his customers to call Gibson refrigerators when one broke down. He went to fix it – backed up what he sold as a small business person. And he did not charge a “minimum charge” just for coming to the house. The only ones who did that were the lousy sales and service people on lousy Long Island and had big companies – and fraud and unethical behavior, too. From dating a girl from Long Island, I learned about those, too.

And many complain about drive-by shootings? Someone should live in Lake Worth or Boynton Beach, FL, to see just how bad they can be. I am speaking about the state run by a Republican one-party government for more than 20 years now. Run by fascists like Rick the Prick and Ron DeSantis. Even Jeb Bush was a fascist who privatized the jail system so it becomes one of TRYING to put people e in jail so as to support a profit motive. All due to Jeb Bush and his “me, me, me” stand your ground gun shit.

And I try to find out WHY, for all these concerns i have and I am told that if I did not like these things, that I need to “leave this nation” —- ?????

The days that this Walgreens pharmacy was owned by a LOCAL small business man, as my dad was, and we had a local person interested in the community and the customers. Walgreens sends us a pharmacist who, when I ask questions which impact my LIFE AND DEATH, I get told to leave this nation. Don Jordan, who once owned Valley Pharmacy NEVER would have done that. NEVER.

Next door to this Walgreens is a locally owned supermarket which has been in the family for some three or four generations. I don’t get treated in that supermarket in the manner I was treated at a large-scale pharmacy chain. If I see a need for a product they don’t have in the supermarket, they are very kind and attempt to get it. I am most thankful for what they do. If they can get it they will bring it to their shelves. If not, I understand – they can’t get it. They are small, so there are times I need to drive eight miles away to Weis, Price Chopper, or Grand Union. Or order through Amazon. But those are always last resort because I appreciate the efforts of those in a small business who are the greatest.

Even the Weis, Price Chopper, and Grand Union are stores owned by chains. Those stores are part of smaller chains than Walgreens.

Walgreens, a corporation with top brass fat pigs who wished to LEAVE THIS NATION and move overseas. It was the Obama administration which worked to keep it here, for the sake of providing jobs for Americans. People also need to understand the history here. When this tiny little supermarket was begun in a small store on Water Street, they faced competition from A&P across the street. A chain store. Which remains here in this town? A small supermarket. Where is A&P? Gone. The A&P in a nearby town remained for many years until the chain went belly up. A CVS Pharmacy sits on the spot of that A&P, a Walgreens across the street in an building which once was home to Grand Union. I don’t remember the A&P here in this town because it was gone before I was born.

When my dad got pissed at the larger company which bought out the small business in which he worked for some 20 years. He quit and formed his own business. I am told my father’s business outlasted the bigger company.

Today, the buildings for that larger company are now the Hutchinson Town Hall. Hutchinson. A relation to the family which ran the local supermarket for years. Part of my dad’s business is now being run from a location near the southern town line. That other business is gone.

The local supermarket people have been most wonderful, including the owner whom, I am told, had to be taken to Cleveland because there was no healthcare facility, locally or even across the PA border, who could help him. He went to the same hospital which also owns a hospital in Miami, FL, where I used cardiologists from that same organization.

And when we sat in a bar to get a meal (not drinks), waiting for our car which was being handled nearby, we heard, for almost two hours, the men in that bar, talking about the lousy healthcare in the Binghamton area. Never once did I hear ANY one of them speak about the bail situation in New York. Not once. It was about the lousy healthcare and UHS was one name I heard come up.

I don’t want to bring this up, but… I was born in the hospital which is now owned by UHS. A couple years after I was born there, several babies died at Wilson Memorial because someone put salt, rather than sugar, in the formulas. My dad read the newspaper quite frequently and shared that article with me, from the Evening Press of Binghamton. I was just a little kid at the time. But I don’t forget it.

So, I am a complainer who should leave this nation? According to a pharmacist I should. Just do things “prescribed” (no pun intended) in the fascist way, by the big fat pigs of America who refuse to pay their taxes, have had an increase of some 1000% since BEFORE Reagan and his freaking lousy deregulation and supply-side economics (which is NOT capitalism) and shut up, huh? Like politics in a democracy, capitalism is about checks and balances. Deregulation removes the balances between supply and demand or between investments and return on investments. In the process, the little guy, including small business people, are destroyed. I will not shut up. And I chose to live in this nation because of my ancestors who built it, for which I appreciate, even with the lack of perfections over time. There is no perfection. And that is why we common folk need to put our heads together, speak up, and work together to find the best solutions based on best practices, not on what the “me, me, me” lousy attitudes of the fat pigs at the top. I have an investments in oil companies which pursue alternative fuels, including SOLAR and ELECTRIC CARS. Checks and balances for our future and those who follow us in death.

Am I supposed to be subservient to those who have tons of money and only push for a Keystone project, oil drilling on the coast of Florida with a danger of pollution, fracking (which destroys well water), and the big oil of Texas? What am I? Chopped liver? If you say so, then YOU are the traitors of this nation which was built for YOU, the common person.

Right now, the only one who gives us checks and balances is a man named Joe Biden. He is MY president. With his good and his imperfections. He is still OUR president. I am sick and tired of hearing the lies about him. I am not going to shut up about having to leave the nation in which I was born so that some people can steal from other Americans, as much as I have observed, among other events, in the 20-year one-party fascist Republican system of Florida. The Republican Party of Florida (RPOF).

As I once told a friend who felt as if I did not like her because I sounded as if I did not like Republicans anymore, it is not being a Republican for which I characterized her. I told this person that it is how wonderful I think of this one person and the great person she is, not which political party to which she belongs. After all, I was once a Republican, but I could no longer tolerate the LEADERSHIP of the party. It was not those individuals at my level in which I formed my ideas because many of them are good people. But the people I associated during Vietnam conflict era were NOT those who said, “America, love it or leave it.” I tried to stay as far away from such people, as possible. And I know there were some in this little town where I grew up who felt that way. But I won’t mention names.

Male Wombs & Sea Horses

Dear Ms. Parker:

In our universe, a far time ago, you wrote ab op-ed blasting the idea of research which could allow babies to be carried to the full 9-months in a womb within a male.  Yes.  You blasted the idea.  Are you aware of sea horse males carrying babies to term and then delivering them?

So, what do you think about the fact that sea horse males get the eggs of a female put inside the male body (how? I have no idea) after a ritual fertilization dance?  Interesting. 

I bring this up, not only to be contentious with you about males carrying babies, but for other reasons, too.

A person who was once near and dear to me made a claim that “God made a mistake by creating sea horses in this manner.” Oh my goodness!  God made a mistake?  To which my reply is, only the pope makes mistakes, not God.  You know.  Many o believe the pope is NOT infallible. Our ancestors  who believe this came to the shores of America to escape the fascist type persecution by Roman Catholics which was drawn from one of the most brutal and barbaric regimes in civilization, from the Roman Empire through the Holy Roman Empire and the barbaric inquisitions against the Protestant Huguenots and into the persecution of the Jews in Germany, Italy, and other parts of Europe.  One such family came to these shores after those who were in the 17th Century clergy class of Britain who wrote a treatise critical of the idea that the pope is infallible.  God does not make mistakes.  Human beings do.

Recently, at the New York State Fair, we viewed the livestock exhibits.  We learned that, with artificial insemination, the males were no longer necessary. That is the reason for obtaining veal.  Male calves put to death for food.  For us, we refuse to purchase veal. Sadly, will this spare the lives of male calves?  Don’t know.  Humans make mistakes, not God. 

We also have heard of no necessity for male chickens because it is the females which lay the eggs and, like a human harem during days gone by, there is less need for males, so the little chick roosters are put to death.  How?  I have heard they are ground up alive.  Humans make mistakes, not God.

Did God make a mistake by creating bees?  The males impregnate the queen bee and then are killed by stinging death of the female worker bees in the hive.  So the males get to use their penis and then… wam bam thank you ma’am … are killed.  With stingers, so I am told. 

So, when a person thinks God is bad for making the sea horses the way he does, I have to protest. 

Thus, when Kathleen Parker describes her contention with using males to carry babies in a womb, I have to protest again. 

Gay male couples do a fine job of adopting and raising children.  Lesbians do the same.  There is proof that such situations with same-sex couples who adopt babies and raise them sometimes do a better job than some heterosexual couples who are blessed by the bishops and priests of America.  Some of them do a better job than heterosexual couples.  So what is the problem with the freaking Roman Catholic bishops of America who take offense and give judgments that belong with God, not human beings, regarding masturbation, prostitution (going uncontrolled rather than being regulated and taxed, as in Europe), same-sex marriage, abortion, contraception, and sex outside of marriage? My grandmother always quoted the Gospels with, “don’t judge, lest you be judged.”  Pointing a human finger of judgment at other human beings means there are three fingers pointing back at an individual.  Perhaps if males carry babies, there might be less incest and rape which cause abortions.  But silly me for thinking in such a humane manner. 

Paul quotes Leviticus with regard to gay men.  The reason the scripture exists in Leviticus is due to the lack of males to impregnate females.  The reason why Paul used the scripture was to stop the pagan rituals which were sex-oriented. It had no relation to the original scripture because the pagan sex rituals involved females and males, as well as homosexuality.  Take a testosterone-laden barbaric male who loves to screw women as much as possible to think of some way to be barbaric and mean to gay men, and they can find something in the Bible.  Then establish this traditionalist belief over centuries, backed up by the Holy Roman Empire (barbaric with inquisitions) and VOILA!  We have people judging one another, as if they are God, when they are not. 

There are several on the Supreme Court who are Roman Catholics and some opposed to abortion and same-sex marriage.  Apparently the guys there think with their brains in their penis.  The one who once told me “God makes a mistake with sea horses,” also made that statement about males.  Which is why this all bothers me.  So, what about the female Roman Catholic on the bench, just like the one who got all mixed up about sea horses?  Is the brain of those women in their cunts?  ‘Splain it to me, Lucy. 

Many such people want to tolerate rape and incest, but take offense at someone being gay or having an abortion.  Give me a break because such people do nothing but invoke a dictatorship of THEIR beliefs and do so in a land which has something in the constitution which says there is a freedom of religion.  The Roman Catholics on this SCOTUS are representing a minority of Americans but are a majority on the SCOTUS.  They love to create a hell on earth, unless those who don’t agree with their religious beliefs are executed, as Hitler, a non-devout Roman Catholic, did to Jews in Europe.  As the barbaric Holy Roman Empire did to my Protestant Huguenot ancestors in France and other places in Europe .  Barbarism of the Roman kind has been described as the most brutal in civilization. They were sickos.  Who would get a thrill and a pleasure from throwing Christians to the lions in an arena?  The Romans.  Damn the ones in Italy today who are pushing fascism there. Damn those who want a one-party state with a hidden agenda of fascism, whether that be Florida or England.  Damn them all for creating a hell on earth.

No, Ms. Parker, there is nothing wrong with research to impregnate a male, using his sperm and the eggs of another, so the male can carry the fetus to full term and then give birth.  Rather than killing off males as being of no value to the world, as the worker bees in a hive do, perhaps we can recognize the value of ALL human beings and stop the BS of hell on earth.

“America less split than seems” (Scranton Times-Tribune, Sept. 11, 2022)

To the Editors of Scranton Times & Kathleen Parker, Washington Post (Jeff Bezos’s newspaper?):

Kudos for an informative op-ed regarding the polarization of America.  The facts presented by John Avlon who has had a career “advancing centrism and fighting extremism” are very well understood and can also advance the ability of Americans to learn rather than dig in with an emotional spark and little or no knowledge.  The statistics demonstrating that a range of about 60 to 75% of Americans support same-sex marriage, cannabis legalization, and are pro-choice.  For many years, we have known about such numbers.  In a national referendum in Australia, we might seem to recall these numbers were close to the numbers here which are based on polls, not a democratic government run by referendums of the people.  Instead, we have a man running Fox News who is Australian and uses the back door to impose his wishes and those of the minority of people who are quoted in this op-ed.  They force control of the U.S. Senate so as to appoint members of the minority to a Supreme Court, including puritanical idiots of the Roman Catholic Church which is a minority in this nation but dictates by way of a court, not the referendums, as in Australia and other nations.  Bravo for the information, but consider that Hitler came to power after advocating gay rights, but once the power was consolidated with guns and violence, he turned on many people, including the LGBTQ community in Germany.  Castro did the same thing in his dictatorship in Cuba, yet idiots like Marco Rubio has blinders on and lacks knowledge and a THINKING ability, so as to react with emotions instead. 

As for referendums of democracy, people also need to know there are at least TWO referendums on different issues than what is outlined here in which the voters approved of the referendums.  This was the state where Trump hides out an with stupid lawyers like Giuliani,  tries to protect his right to classified documents which he HAS NO RIGHT.  In that state of Florida, Rick Scott, now sitting in the U.S. Senate, and Ron DeSantis, now a sitting in the governor’s mansion in Tallahassee, have negated what the voters of Florida approved, on two different issues.  Furthermore, there is no referendum in Florida regarding same-sex marriage, pro-choice, or cannabis, so Ron DeSantis puts forth legislation to attempt to destroy some of those issues, attempt to allow people to stand their ground against those who dissent of the governor by the use of guns and violence, and issues an ultimatum against Walt Disney for dissenting against his stand on sexual identity and the teaching about the truth regarding the history of racism in Florida and America.  As with so many other examples from George W. Bush and the Republicans, these fascist Republicans use these issues as wedge issues of fear, so as to get people who might be on the 70% of the side of the issues, to vote for their candidacy.  They tarnish Democrats and independents who may be people who support such issues. That is the only way such fascists can win elections.  It was the only way that a minority of people in Germany or Italy could win elections enough to take command.  Add to that the guns and violence such people use. 

As to the quotation of the military writer, Thomas E. Ricks, there is a prediction of a low probability of a U.S. civil war.  Very positive thoughts to consider.  Except this ignores the fact that there was really no civil war which brought Hitler to power, either.  And Trump and others have studied the tactics and strategies used by Hitler.  I have read about some in Texas and other areas of this nation who have purportedly studied, with added accolades from many, the tactics and strategies of Tojo of Japan when he rose to power in that nation, too.  The hope and positive attitude of the commentary given by Ms. Parker is very good.  I hate to be negative, but these other historical facts which I mention cannot be ignored.  Perhaps it is necessary for me to apologize for having a negative answer?  Silly me for wishing to seek the truth so it can set us free. 

People in 70 AD also sought the truth when a fascist-supporting army of Roman General Titus invaded Jerusalem so as to destroy (predicted by Jesus Christ).  Trump, Giuliani, and many of their mobster goons goons wish to do destruction and not reform.  To reform is what happens in a democracy.  Historical evidence also points out the times that democracy has worked very well in accomplishing reform and doing so without guns, violence, and bloodshed.

In the TV program, Naked and Afraid, we still blur the genitals.  The mindset is from ancient ideas and traditions which cannot be validated by a library of books we call the scriptures. These are man-made ideas, not those from a loving God.  Ron DeSantis and the majority of Roman Catholics on the SCOTUS have no right, under the U.S. Constitution, to invoke their beliefs about covering over genitals, portraying sex on TV, or even putting porn on TV.  If so, then why are my rights and beliefs being tread on when I say I don’t want to see blood, guts, violence, and guns on TV, held by vicious and barbaric people who are like the Ancient Romans and carried forward by the Holy Roman Empire and the Roman Catholic Church?  My beliefs are about a loving God who would not do such things as massacres, genocide, or homicide.  Those are my beliefs and need to be protected by the U.S. Constitution which had a great deal of writing by Deists and not just those who call themselves Christians.  This is NOT a Christian nation.  It is a secular nation of one culture and a multitude of religious beliefs. 

Walking out of a modern art museum in Florida, someone in our crowd began to bloviate about the nudity in the paintings and photographs.  As someone involved in the arts, I protested and said that the human body is as beautiful as the scenery and other scenes on canvas or photos.  Perhaps under the new law by DeSantis and the RepubliFascists of Florida, I would be shot for protesting such an expression against art, with a dissension against public displays of blood, guts, violence, and guns on T?  The dissension for which this heinous law intends is to allow those like DeSantis or the idiot from Arizona (Blake Masters) to shoot down those who disagree and express the disagreement in words of dissension against what THEY believe?  RepubliFascists need to be routed out, especially when they are moles hidden among the Democrats and divide the Democrats in the process.  There is no free speech for hatred and lies which merely push people to fear in order to vote for RepubliFascists.  This needs to be ended.  Puritanical Roman Catholics and puritanical Protestants have no right to push their religious beliefs upon the rest of us. It matters not whether it involves their beliefs about blood, guts, violence, and guns on TV, sexual identity, abortions, frontal nudity, sex, or porn. 

When introducing college students to the Internet in the 1990s, we found many young people were searching out porn. They would come to the college library to use the publicly available computers connected to the Internet in order to view the porn.  We had a rule about not using the computers to view porn, but it did not stop the students.  My approach was to ask someone whom I caught on the porn whether it would be good to have such actions portrayed live and on the tables in the library? Or at the same time, whether such public displays of bashing another person’s head in should be allowed in the library?  It would give the students an embarrassment.  I would use that as a learning moment to help understand how we need to respect what others think in a public situation and one way was to not put on the screens of the computers what others might find very offensive. 

Then one day, a student who heard me say this asked the question: “why are there scenes of violence on computers and you say nothing to them?”  He had me on that one.  I merely said, “I wish I could, but my boss is more concerned about not having the porn, nudity, and sex on the screens and there is no concern about the violence on the screens.”  That was the 1990s. Most of those young people at that time are now in their 40s and perhaps 50s.  Many who were in their 20s in the 1990s were of the ages of those who stormed the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021, with weapons and vicious, spoiled brat attitudes of immaturity. 

As the Internet got going, I no longer had to police for porn and utilize such situations as learning experiences.  Did not matter because I don’t think anyone else used such situations as learning experiences. In fact a colleague promoted violence by physically abusing the students by hitting them over the head.  When I protested that being done and tried to explain how it could be a calm learning experience, I was put down and the boss never took it seriously. Only tough guy vicious ways were promoted.  And today, look what we have.  With such actions of violence against the students, why would they not choose violence? 

Funny thing.  Because we had black folks in the library, too, and never once did I ever see a black person looking at the porn. That does not mean none of them did so, but it was always white guys whom I saw doing that. It was the white guys who got hit over the head by a librarian. It was white guys who stormed the Capitol building.  When the black folk lodged a protest in Washington, prior to Jan. 6, they did so in a peaceful way of protest.  So don’t talk to me about how black folk are bad and do so in a demeaning and ignorant knowledge about black folks. 

My rights are being denied against the public viewing of blood, guts, violence, and guns on TV. In Europe, with less guns, allow such things to be viewed and don’t have a stupid jackass bloviating about seeing nudes in an art museum, as I viewed in the early years of the 21st Century in Palm Beach County, Florida.  But then again, I have not endorsed censorship of  blood, guts, violence, and guns on TV.  I also don’t endorse censorship of public viewing of nudity, sex, or porn, either.  Remove the Goddamn fig leaves, too, not because I get a perverted sense of enjoyment because I don’t.  But because these are beauty among human beings which cannot be denied.  And stop eating sugar and carbs so as to increase obesity and diabetes in America today.  Again.  Remove the Goddamn fig leaves because my God of love objects to such use. That is MY belief and should be protected under the U.S. Constitution.  

Side note: perhaps a book such as Swearing Is Good for You: The Amazing Science of Bad Language is something worth reading? Especially after I use words tantamount to swearing?  Stop the puritanical shit with the sin book and look to how human beings are born with “original blessings” and can make mistakes. Deliberate sin is bad, but that is the same as deliberate sin by people like Trump, Rick Scott, Ron DeSantis with corruption to purchase elections or steal money from Medicare.
