“Liar, liar, pants on fire!”

As kids, we would repeat this little chant when we knew one of our “playmates” was lying.

Rick Scott lies.  Where is the evidence?  Obamacare has NOT caused costs of medical care to go up.  That is a bunch of baloney.  For the insurance I pay, the cost has gone down, not up.  For the insurance costs of some friends who were unable to purchase insurance prior to Obamacare – because it was too costly – the cost is now affordable enough to purchase.

Rick Scott, you lie.

“Liar, liar, pants on fire!”  Go back to elementary school playgrounds where the kids could repeat this chant and millions of people would not get hurt.

Rick Scott is also a bully and a coward.  Rather than challenge Karl Rove or the Koch brothers – people on his level, he bullies people who have less power and money.  Bullying coward Rick Scott.  Take your lying advertisements and go home, Rick Scott – all the way to Kansas.

Billboards of Lies

Not long ago, traveling north on I-95 near Boca Raton, I viewed a billboard with the words, “Barack Obama supports abortion.”

Now it’s the president’s business to file charges of libel.  But if my name were attached to that – and I have faced such a situation from a judgmental person who calls herself a “Christian” – I would be filing charges of libel.

I am against abortion, but I am also pro-choice.  I would work to encourage, if at all possible, someone whom I loved NOT to get an abortion.  I would frown upon anyone who uses abortion as a means of contraception.  Such a move shows a lack of responsibility.

But when it comes down to it, the choice of an abortion resides with the woman carrying the fetus.  I would also argue that the male who was involved in the action should have a say in the decision as well.  But the ultimate decision is the female carrying the fetus.

I support abortion in cases of rape and I don’t want to change the definition of rape – as does Allen West.

In 1901, the world lost my great-grandmother, Angeline MacLennon Eldridge, and her unborn child in pregnancy.  I have thought about this:  what if abortions DID exist in those days?  Would my great-grandmother been enabled to make a decision which would have saved HER life and allowed her to continue to have OTHER babies?  The anti-abortion advertisements about the loss of a child on a swing set is just as effective when considering the loss of life of mother AND baby, when abortions were illegal.

I believe in a positive world working to increase knowledge about being responsible, not a negative world which chooses to criminalize young women.  A negative world helps create an abortion black market which lacks hygiene, leading to the death of young females who might, at one point, forget the need to take responsibility.  And even then, we need to recognize that we are imperfect human beings with hormones raging at a young age.  We need to effectively come to grips with this situation, rather than invoking boneheaded criminalization solutions to deal with something called … HUMANS.

We are not “economic units,” as the character, Harvey Nigel Bains, says on the Britcom, Waiting for God… “We the people…”  Stop the lies, particularly those lies about President Obama and the lies on billboards purchased by high-powered people who thrive on deception and lying.

West is NOT a Common Sense Person in Congress

How much does a billboard on the Florida Turnpike cost?  A pretty penny, no doubt.  Again, Allen West is being paid off in order to lie and attempt to destroy an opponent.  The latest lie is a billboard on the turnpike describing Mr. West as a man of common sense.  Lies.  False labels while Mr. West never reveals his true lack of compassion.  West hides behind negativity rather than confront the issues honestly and with integrity.  Mr. West lies while supporting narrow views of life and then force these views on those of us who disagree.  That is not a “common sense” person.

West flip flops – for suckers.  West claims he supports Medicare and Social Security, but his record speaks otherwise.

Aleln West and others like him are fascists.  They believe only in one way to think and then enforce that belief on anyone who disagrees.  That is fascism which is derived by those in an Empire which enslaved good citizens and murdered early Christians.  Many of my ancestors arrived in this land to escape Roman persecution and execution – from the inquisition of the Roman Catholics in Europe.  I resent anyone, whether Southern Baptist, Roman Catholic, Mormon, or other religions which wish to force their way of life on everyone else.  Allen West intends to force his life upon all of us.  He is NOT a representative for all of us, but for the wealthy and for a select few religious fascists.

Some people think I will come out better if I just go along with the religious right and ultra conservatives.  I have not come out better in the past, so why should I now?  When the toombifier gang at my former employer (remember the words of Grayson) gave us this horse s*** about the layoffs being some kind of altruistic measure for “deregulation” and making it better for the consumer – and for the way electric utilities do business, I knew it was a bunch of horse s*** then.  It is still a bunch of horse s***. But alas, for the sake of my family, I was FORCED to conform.  Oh, yes.  I had a choice:  an offer I could not refuse (words from the movie, The Godfather).

The company shut down its administrative / management operations in St. Petersburg, forcing thousands of employees out of work and the industry never really became a more competitive one – as portrayed by the liars who earned millions as a result of those actions of the early 1990s.  Instead, the company joined the ranks of the company “flipper”-type CEOs who lost sight of the goals and missions of companies and merely purchase them to “flip” them and make money that way.  These people are lazy SOBs who don’t know how to EARN money – just take it from others.  Rick Scott is one of them.

My bet is these guys in the early 1990s were pissed off at the election of Bill Clinton, which made George Bush, Sr., a one-term president.  Most of them were of the younger baby boom generation who f***ed us older guys over – at the request of the greedy SOBs who were closer to my age and did have the money – quite possibly because they f***ed our government by not paying back student loans – as I had faithfully done, despite the lack of “profit” in my family unit.  Oh, yeah, it’s called “disposable income” – something us “little guys” are not supposed to have because we are too stupid to know what to do with it.

These are the same guys who are TRYING to manipulate a one-term presidency out of Barack Obama.  Why?  Not out of altruism, but out of vindictiveness.  We don’t need vindictive leaders, we need those who will get the job done – like Nancy Pelosi and a House of Representatives which accomplished more – perhaps things distasteful to these lazy bums with money – but more.  Excuse me, but were these guys elected by the people or by lazy bums with money and only one motive?  That motive (besides stubborn fascist ideology which nixes any form of reasoning or logic) is vindictiveness towards Bill Clinton and the Democrats.

These wealthy pigs mock democracy while repeating words like, “democracy,” “liberty,” “freedom.”  The “Empire” is getting too big, so they feel compelled to destroy democracy, while giving the appearance we still have it.
“You hypocrites!  You offspring of vipers!  Your father is Satan the devil!”

 

Gee!  Where did we hear these words before?
