The intent of this blog is to promote human equality, human progress, human peace and justice, and optimism. To accomplish this, to encourage the discussion of ideas after identifying and discovering problems, and then creating positive solutions for "we the people," in order to provide for the "general welfare" and "domestic tranquility" of America now and its "posterity" into the future. To encourage an emphasis on separation of religion and state for all, no matter if this is for those "of faith" in a Maker / Creator (Deists, God-loving people, Christians, various people of spirituality) and atheists or agnostics.

Republicans Create Fear, Intimidation, and Divisiveness in Order to Win

Republicans don’t know how to win on the substance of issues.  They lie and deceive.  In Wisconsin’s gubernatorial election, the Republicans convinced a whole bunch of suckers they need not go to the polls, should they have already signed the recall petition.  Imagine the lies these people have up their sleeves – from Rove, Koch brothers, and company.

These greedy selfish Ayn Rand worshipers convince people without jobs that teachers make too much money.  They lie about the true issue in the Chicago teachers’ strike in order to portray teachers as being greedy.  The issue was not a financial one, but there are those who believe it was.  The true greedy ones lie and deceive and then point fingers at innocent people.

Meanwhile, the suckers who believe this deceptive crap from the mouths of Republicans never attack the people who make far more than teachers:  lawyers and, yes, CEOs and other executives.

West is NOT a Common Sense Person in Congress

How much does a billboard on the Florida Turnpike cost?  A pretty penny, no doubt.  Again, Allen West is being paid off in order to lie and attempt to destroy an opponent.  The latest lie is a billboard on the turnpike describing Mr. West as a man of common sense.  Lies.  False labels while Mr. West never reveals his true lack of compassion.  West hides behind negativity rather than confront the issues honestly and with integrity.  Mr. West lies while supporting narrow views of life and then force these views on those of us who disagree.  That is not a “common sense” person.

West flip flops – for suckers.  West claims he supports Medicare and Social Security, but his record speaks otherwise.

Aleln West and others like him are fascists.  They believe only in one way to think and then enforce that belief on anyone who disagrees.  That is fascism which is derived by those in an Empire which enslaved good citizens and murdered early Christians.  Many of my ancestors arrived in this land to escape Roman persecution and execution – from the inquisition of the Roman Catholics in Europe.  I resent anyone, whether Southern Baptist, Roman Catholic, Mormon, or other religions which wish to force their way of life on everyone else.  Allen West intends to force his life upon all of us.  He is NOT a representative for all of us, but for the wealthy and for a select few religious fascists.

Redemption

Regarding President Obama and comments I made last year about him “lacking balls,” I need to redeem myself.  Let it be known that I fully support Barack Obama and the Democrats, even when there are some issues.  Those issues are not as strong as my desire to see Obama and the Democrats sweep the government.

As a former Republican, I am ashamed of the worship of Grover Norquist – by Republicans.  Their oath should be to their country and the U.S. Constitution, not to a man and his austerity ideology.  Norquist is a traitor.  The tea party consists of traitors, too.  Andrew Carnegie said something like, “wealth is not created by individuals, but by society.”  The Republican approach is wrong.

Furthermore, austerity budgets have always imploded an economy.  Had it not been for Barack Obama and his opposition to complete austerity, there would be no progress with unemployment and the economy at all.

Republicans and their supporters are mean-spirited, non-compassionate liars who promote a centralized economy with few differences from the centralized oligarchy and monopolistic practices of the former Soviet Union.  Early Christians formed communes, but they were nothing like a strong centralized economic oligarchy similar to the Roman Empire which was also responsible for the death of their leader.  When will people begin to put things in the proper perspective?

President Barack Obama is the only man for the White House.

Advertisement Tonight on CNN, 10.23.2012

Once again, let’s expose lies of the Republican Party.  An advertisement tonight explains why a man is voting for Republicans.  He implies the other choice is socialism.  Oh, really?  I grew up on Main Street USA and had my own little capitalist businesses which don’t exist today for American kids.  Why?  Not due to socialism or communism or government, but our problems today are due to the fascists on Wall Street.  In 2008, Barack Obama made a distinction between Main Street and Wall Street and is then accused of being a socialist?

I am supportive of real competitive free market capitalism.  Republicans support oligarchic and crony capitalism.  A one-time Republican myself, I reject this stand by Republicans.

From a young age, I was working – on farms, mowing lawns, shoveling snow, and delivering newspapers.   It was not the union folks who removed these jobs from the kids today, but those who move in here from other lands, somehow claiming they have a better work ethic to succeed.  That’s baloney.

Who are the ones who refused – deliberately refused – to pay back student loans which our government was nice enough to grant them?  Look around.  They are more likely the ones who support Republicans and Libertarians today.

There should be opposite viewpoints on CNN when such lying advertisements are broadcast.
