Dictatorial Control by a Minority of Americans is Similar to the Bolsheviks, Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo: Stop These Anti-Americans by Abolishing the U.S. Senate Filibuster Which is Abolition in Another Sense

Why should we allow this nation to be controlled by a dictatorship which consists of Trump followers who bow to him like he was Tojo of Japan as they are seduced by lies which are told over and over again on Fox News and other outlets so as to make such lies the truth.

Sometimes, the REAL truth hurts. In this case the truth contorted by lies hurts many Americans in a real bad sense. The REAL truth will set you free from such slime bag ways of a bunch of slime balls run by white supremacists and the lousy ones like this in Dixie.

Peace will not be achieved without justice. There is no justice when slimeball bastards, white supremacists who work to control this nation, continue to disturb the peace in America.

A filibuster in the U.S. Senate has always been used by this type of people to block justice being done. This filibuster rule in the U.S. Senate needs to be destroyed and abolished. We have a two-party system, not a multi-party system as is done where they elect a prime minister in a Parliament. The Republican control by these sadists who should be called Trumpicans (on the same par with the Dixiecrats of the 1940s) put everything into a sense of red or blue and there is no in-between, as what exists in nations like New Zealand, Canada, Australia, Great Britain. Rupert Murdock should have his assets frozen and have HIM deported to his home nation of Australia where they actually have a democracy as I describe (multi-party state) and obviously, the stupidity and the wealth of Murdock makes him work with the lousy slimeball dictators.

The same thing done to Napoleon should be done to Donald Trump. Place him isolated on an island with security so he never commands a lead among his Trumpicans in the Republican Party and the wimps in that party who would rather resign than to challenge the bastard slimeball criminal. Wake up Republican wimps and begin to smell the roses, not the s**t of Trump.

P.S. New Zealand with its parliamentary democracy and a female prime minister has fought the war with COVID-19 and have come out further ahead than the slimeball leader called Trump who kept pointing fingers over the “spilled milk” of “who is responsible for the virus in China.” What the hell does that do to solve the problem? We had a female elected in 2016 because she won the POPULAR VOTE over Trump. Where is she? And now freaking lousy slimeball Trump lies like a little immature brat with claims of fraud in this latest election. Why? Because Trump didn’t win and he and his godless followers think that is the reason to claim fraud. Again. Get rid of Rupert Murdock who oversees Fox News and send him packing back to Australia, the way Trump wants to send anyone packing who is an immigrant and opposed to him.

Winston Churchill, his Quotes Taken through the Lens of a Supporter of the Human Race, not the White Supremacy Defined by a Dictatorship like that of Hilter

In an article, “101 Quotes of Winston Churchill to Motivate You to Never Give Up,” we can see how brilliant half -American (his mother born and raised in Upstate New York), Churchill was. Many of the quotes were said in reply to the “blitzkriegs” brought on by Hitler’s Lufthansa. Constant bombings.

In America, the neo-cons in the Republican Party, a bunch of reactionary far right wing folks who controlled that wing of the political party in Congress, tied the hands of Democratic Party president, Franklin D. Roosevelt, who wanted to do something to help Churchill and Britain. It was not until Hawaii was bombed did the reactionary far right wing leaders of the Republican Party decide to do something. Together with the white supremacist Dixiecrats of the South, they fought with FDR in a contentious manner. The wimps of America, like Churchill’s predecessor, Chamberlain, remained silent, with fear about “become involved.”

The words of Founding Father, Benjamin Franklin existed at that time, but were ignored. ​Benjamin Franklin: “​Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are ​affected.”

Stacey Abrams, a small business woman of Georgia, advised that we can hold fast to our values, but can work together to compromise on the actions taken. Whoopi Goldberg is quoted as saying, “we all need to get on the same page,” but what is that “same page?” The lens and perspective with blinders blocks many from getting on that “same page.” What is the answer, or do we just sit and say, “oh, well, oh, well, it will never change in my generation?” Dump BULL MANURE on such pessimistic attitudes.

In light of the domestic terrorism inspired by Trumpicans today, plus the actions of lousy pathetic Republican far-right neo-cons in the days of FDR, we need to be certain we consider what lens people look through these quotes by Churchill, Ben Franklin, and Stacey Abrams. If we look at these quotations with the lens of the human race, not the lens of the white supremacists, Trumpicans, Proud Boy thugs, white Dixiecrats, the ones of the KKK, John Birchers, Neo-Nazis who are behind the domestic terror, all these quotations take on a different meaning.

We also need to consider the entire span of life in which Churchill references, not just pull one word out. For instance, Churchill said,”All the great [MAGA jackasses] things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom; justice; honor; duty; mercy; hope.” The first word is, “freedom.” Churchill meant a single word from the list of words. Sure, lousy neo-con governor of Texas, cherry pick the word, “freedom” in order to validate not wearing masks. You idiotic neo-con of the South. So, how does Abbott of Texas define justice? Justice ONLY for white supremacists and the stupid white law enforcement people who don’t like black people, from Missouri to Minnesota, New York City, and elsewhere. It’s a lens with blinders on, directed ONLY at the white supremacists of America. They wish for “honor; duty; mercy; hope” for white supremacists. They have a fear that they will lose out to other races so they create a hell on earth for all, rather than looking through the lenses of perspectives about the entire human race, throwing away the damn blinders. They are disgusting people who emanate from the den of the devil which wants to pit one against another, especially against those who are able to see a God of love who loves all his children on earth.

Even President Kennedy’s words, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country” can be viewed through the lens and perspective of the human race or the lens and perspective on one race only. That is a fragmented hell on earth.

This hell on earth needs to stop and switch this reality to something better. Words such as “liberty and justice FOR ALL.” “WE THE PEOPLE,” not just “WE THE WHITE SUPREMACISTS.” “Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” (Thomas Jefferson was intended for all, but some people just don’t get it, in their irrational egotistical selfish instant gratification ways.

I am inspired by Churchill’s quotes, including this one: “… democracy is a very bad form of government but all the others are so much worse.” Churchill had to reason with a dictatorial bunch of Republicans in the USA who refused to lend him support in his fight against Hitler. Why did these jackass Republicans of that day do such a thing? I have some answers, but won’t go into it at this time. I am inspired by half-American Churchill, but I view them without blinders on, from the perspective and lens of God’s children and the entire human race, which God loves. The light is not a fake one from the devil, but it is the light of God’s only begotten son, Jesus Christ. Those of us who understand what that light is about, need not live in fear because sometimes we are in the darkness of a tunnel and the light is a distant part at the end of the tunnel. We should not be hiding the light under a bushel basket, either. What is your lens and do you shed the blinders?

TECHNOLOGY: It’s Humans, Stupid, Not Technology

Technology is a blessing and curse. The Internet is a blessing and a curse. With Spectrum Internet, it is all so slow in loading many items that we are back in the 1950s when it took minutes for a television to begin because of the vacuum tubes in the televisions. Mattered not whether there was an antenna on the roof or “rabbit ear” antenna indoors. The vacuum tube was slow in warming up. Besides, in the 1950s, there was NO cable television. That did not come into the homes, particularly in hilly areas like Upstate New York and Pennsylvania, until the 1960s. The signal was more reliable and not subjected to those who do the hacking.

In the 1960s and later, Castro, with his centrally planned supply side economics, figured a way to “jam” the signals he did not wish for his people to view. It was usually Miami and South Florida signals he jammed, but perhaps there were Voice of America signals he jammed as well(?). IT was not the technology, stupid. It was humans, stupid, who were running Castro’s island and did not wish for the people to have happiness.

In America, we face such “jamming” and removal of our happiness. Many times. Just recently, a favored streaming radio station was “jammed.” Yep. Jelly all over the place (NOT). It was taken off a Favorites list on one streaming service within Roku. When checking another streaming service, it was claimed, earlier this week, that this station would not be available on this other service until Saturday, March 20, 2021. Here we are, today, Saturday, March 20, and where is our favorite station on this streaming service. Returning to the original streaming service to discover if, “we’re back!” The results were that it was not there, but to search it, the station was found once again.

Technology and computers do not take a favorite station away from a listener. It’s humans, stupid. It’s humans, stupid, to do such a thing as this which is comparable to Castro (maybe Hitler book burning, too?) removing happiness of the people and pushing American citizens into a corner of helplessness in the process.

People have more important things to do with their lives than to try to work through such obstacles. With warmer weather here, perhaps we would like to do some outdoor gardening or cleaning up lawns after the snow goes away. Removing our happiness so as to push us into a corner and spend more time trying to solve the problems resulting from hackers. Repeat. Computers don’t just do this kind of crap alone. It takes humans, stupid.

We hear about nations such from South Korea to Taiwan to New Zealand to those on continental Europe where the Internet is not like what is being described here. Do they spend time with Trumpicans fighting with good people. Same thing here. People being pushed into a corner with technological crap of hackers and not having time to work with the things which are best for our lives. Why does the states like New York or Florida or the Federal government providing as good an Internet service as the other democratic capitalist nations provide? WHY? Those nations also have political parties which iron out differences, too. But what the Trumpicans are doing to control the Republican Party and gain a foothold in pushing for a dictatorship is disgusting, as they marginalize voters so they won’t vote and suppress many other voters so they CANNOT vote.

These people are vicious barbarians who cannot win elections unless they carve out voting districts by way of GERRYMANDERING. Gerrymandering has been around for a long time. But at least many states, even with gerrymandering, had a two-party system. Right now, Florida has a one-party state of Republican and has never had a Democratic Party governor since before 1998. The gerrymandering has done that.

Go ahead and say, “well New York State is the same.” BULLSHIT. George Pataki was NOT a Democrat, so at least there were a number of years when it went back and forth between Democrat and Republican. There was a day when Senator Warren Anderson of Binghamton headed the MAJORITY of Republicans in the New York State Senate and TYPICALLY, the Assembly was Democrat. Two-party system with more compromise than what there is today.

WE THE PEOPLE DEMAND:
(1) we rid this nation of gerrymandering
(2) we rid this nation of voter suppression
(3) we stop the marginalizing of voters by Trumpican dictatorial people
(4) stop the (please excuse the frustration and the resulting language) BULLSHIT of lies and coverups done by Trumpicans who hold people’s feet to the fire with retribution if they don’t follow the DICTATOR Trump (and Roger Stone and others)
(5) abolish the Electoral College and replace it with two voting times, one with all parties and the second one between the top two recipients of votes
(6) create capitalist competition through government regulation for the sake of SUPPLY AND DEMAND
(7) acknowledge the role which long term, not just egotistical short term, investments mean and encourage pooled lower-risk investments without a cap on percentage invested so wealthy bastards pay less into FICA (Social Security) and Medicare for all, due to LONG TERM investments in a CAPITALIST system; damn it all, don’t close your minds to what some of us are saying
(8) return to a two or more party system with STATES PEOPLE who are rational enough, on ALL sides, to know how to find common ground and lead this nation
(9) abolish PACs and lobbyists from Congress and government, and stop the trash of people with too much control over our legislators. The PEOPLE should speak, not the damn lobbyists and put Congress on the SAME THING the rest of the nation has for Social Security and Medicare (I said, FOR ALL)
(10) Reform the tax system so as to rid the paper shuffling number crunching business of tax accountants and lawyers, which TAKES AWAY from the productivity for REAL things for America, its economy and its people; sales tax and businesses have to hire people and it cuts into the overhead for the small self-employed business person; income taxes the same consideration as it is a regressive one penalizing Americans from making money or PROFIT (which is called “disposable income” – BULLSHIT ON THAT to those who mock those of us pointing this BULLSHIT out); there was a day when conservatives promoted the value added tax because it was a tax added as a value to every product and this did not mean small business has to account for it and cut into their profit margins; today, there is NO DAMN CONSERVATIVE who promotes this, so I say, you damn bastards are NOT conservatives, you are dictatorial neo-cons.

Wrapping this entire discussion together and we end up realizing that the FCC does a lousy job in regulating media and the Internet because they do it to favor their OWN industry, rather than have THIRD PARTY people who look on and regulate in line with CAPITALIST DEMAND AND SUPPLY. The consumer. As with Castro “jamming” signals for Castro’s benefit only, here we are with a return to the discussion about technology. It’s human hackers “jamming” demand-side access, stupid, not technology.

MISTER DOUG NOTES

Communism.  Communist Manifesto.  Karl Marx.  Friedrich Engels.

Wikipedia describes Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels as “political theorists.”  I disagree.  What came out of the “Communist Manifesto” of 1848 was more closely related to economics than to political science.

In this manifesto, was there not an attack on capitalism?  Capitalism is about economics, not politics.  Adam Smith was a  proponent of capitalism as an economic system to replace feudalism and mercantile systems which had existed up to his day.  According to the writings of P.J. O’Rourke and former Congressperson (and Republican), Joe Scarborough, Adam Smith advocated a government intervention and regulation of the excesses of banks and unbridled speculation.  That was Smith’s foray into politics, yet the ultra-conservatives today will call those who advocate what Smith advocated as being “communist.”  Marx and Engels, my friends, came some 50 or so years after Adam Smith, so check your facts, rather than striking out, like bullies, at good people, even if we, too, can make mistakes.

Marx and Engels assessed the economic systems around 1848 and concluded the systems were “capitalist.”  Even with the time period of 50 years following Adam Smith, capitalism had not fully taken root.  As a musician, I see the early 19th-century movement away from the Esterhazy (royalty) patronage of Haydn to the business independence of Beethoven.  But royalty still did run the world, whether Marx or Engels wanted to acknowledge this fact or not (or were just too dumb to see it).

Cuban and Russian exiles are also ignorant to Adam Smith and true capitalism because the czar of Russia and Battista of Cuba both presided over feudal economic systems.  Ayn Rand was mistaken in what she said because she never researched capitalism carefully enough, in order to recognize the wisdom gained by Adam Smith as he endorsed the same type of regulation which eventually became the hallmarks of Theodore and Franklin D. Roosevelt.  The Roosevelts have also been mis-perceived as “communist,” despite the fact I am able to prove they were following the wisdom of a capitalist named Adam Smith.

The Great Depression and the 2008 Bush Recession were both caused by over-speculation of bankers and investors. This was the same type of over-speculation which Adam Smith observed and thus advocated bridled capitalism in the 18th Century.

If people who are like Marco Rubio and followers of Ayn Rand, the Russian, are so stupid they refuse to see what true capitalism is – even when someone points it out, they remain stubbornly ignorant.  When such people conclude only from their narrow vision of economic systems which were actually reactions to feudalism, they remain stubbornly ignorant.  I don’t want people like Rubio or “disciples” of Ayn Rand running my nation – the nation of the Roosevelts.

The issue regarding the “Communist Manifesto” is about economics, not politics.  One can invoke a similar economic system as the one proposed by Marx and Engels, but have a democratic form of government.  These are called “socialist democracies.”  Tito of Yugoslavia had a more democratic form (politics) of “communism” or “socialism (economics).” Marx and Engels proposed an autocratic “dictatorship of the proletariat.”  HItler’s autocratic dictatorship (politics) remained a capitalist economic system, even if it did favor Caucasians and trashed Jews and other minorities.  But, to white honky racists who trash equality, no form of government or economics is good – except that which favors their pitiful selves.

There are parallels between Adam Smith’s proposal for a controlled capitalism and socialism.  In my mind, capitalism is better because it allows the economy to grow when products and services we WANT are provided in a competitive environment, such as that in Vermont (which denies the building of many big boxes, in favor of the local competitive businesses).  At the same time, we need to acknowledge human needs and, as a society AND government respond accordingly.  The problem is that the politicians, on the take from corrupt lobbyists, have given us a terrible system.  Like Vermont, Washington could deny lobbyist access to legislators, but the refusal to do so is written with dollar signs and green in the eyes.

Handouts from the government proliferate and such handouts are perpetuated by politicians trying to win elections by determining which politician can provide the most handouts.  Handouts are NOT capitalism and are NOT socialism.  Entitlements are more about a “return on our investments” than about handouts, but people are so damned confused about all of this.

It is unfortunate that so many “big piggies” believe there should be a destruction of the political system called democracy and we should replace democracy with an autocratic plutocracy run by corporations.  The forces behind these big piggies are “human” corporations ruling against the “numbers” (by bean counter standards – the stupid ones with MBAs and JDs), in other words, the “slaves” and “robots” – the common humans who are humans in the FLESH, not pieces of papers about corporations as drawn up by the bean counters.

“We the people,” rich in numbers of people but low in dollar signs, are being convinced we cannot overcome all of this.  Who are the ones with the psychological means and control of the Media, running on the informal money-based “Un-fairness Doctrine,” to convince us of this negative attitude?

I refuse to believe such negatives.  But I have a problem.  Without people shedding that negative attitude, I stand alone and can be damned, can I not?

About Being Gay and the Nasty Politics / Religion Today

Recently, a “bishop” told congregants of some church that those who vote for Barack Obama are “going to hell.”  There are many churches with bishops.  The Roman and Anglican (Episcopal) and the United Methodist (once called the Methodist Episcopal) all have bishops.

Let’s take note that sane religious groups do not make such statements.  But if we did, we certainly have plenty of reason to say, “don’t vote for Romney / Ryan or you will go to hell.”  The biggest reason is Paul Ryan, but there are plenty of reasons why Mitt Romney is evil.

Let’s take Mitt Romney.  He bullied gay people when in high school.  You like that kind of man for president?  A bully?  You do, huh?  You like that?  How about if I, as a gay man, bullied YOU because you, as a man, have sex with a woman – out of wedlock?  How about if I bullied YOU for not taking responsibility for your actions and just freely having sex with the “one who you are with?”  HOW ABOUT THAT? Why don’t I bully people like that?  Because of Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ taught us to love our neighbor.  Jesus Christ taught us to do to one another as we would have done to ourselves.  I don’t know about you who actually bother to read this post, but I would not bully myself, so why would I bully another person?

Then there is Paul Ryan.  His worship of Ayn Rand makes him very evil.  At least those Roman Catholics who accept gay people are following the words of Christ:  love your neighbor and do unto others as you would have them do to you.  The pope rejects the true Christians, but would accept a congregant who follows the words … no WORSHIPS … an atheist anarchist who believes no one should take responsibility for his/he actions?  How can Paul Ryan have any conscience and attend a Roman Catholic Church?  How can the pope accept such a person, but would deny John Kerry the sacraments because he supports gay people?  John Kerry practices the true Christian religious beliefs.  Paul Ryan and countless other HYPOCRITES are evil creatures doing the will of the beast whose name is created by adding a “d” to the word “evil.”

Barack Obama does not go around ADVOCATING abortion, but accepts the fact that women have a choice.  Ayn  Rand ADVOCATED abortions.  Do people even realize this as they go to the polls in America?

But it’s being gay which impacts me.  My freedom and liberty could be curtailed, should a Republican administration take charge.  Does anyone even care enough to consider this?  I am a RESPONSIBLE gay man, unlike the homosexuality promoted by Ayn Rand – “do your own thing and don’t give a damn about those around you.”  “Love the one you’re with,” according to Ayn Rand.

Here I have spent a lifetime being careful to take responsibility for my actions.  And due to a stupid Jewish woman – an atheist – her followers could really bully me by using churches and universities like Palm Beach Atlantic U. to do their dirty work.  These irresponsible people who promote anarchy USE a bishop to tell his congregants to be self-righteous and judge a good man who has worked hard for the Middle Class for four years now.  Stupid suckers in America who buy this crap from a bunch of paranoid losers fearful that they might be gay.

It matters not that I have had to endure those who FORCE me, using the fear of societal “traditions,” into heterosexual relationships when I truly was always gay.  So, Mr. Rick Santorum, the devil himself, how did YOU lose your freedom and liberty?  Who removed that from you, … you SOB?  Who did that to you?  And the owner of Chick-fil-a… who removed YOUR freedom and liberty?  Did someone FORCE either of you bastards to marry someone of the same sex?  Sorry to use such strong language, but if the truth were known, I wonder what these guys say under their breath about people like me?

Paul Ryan and Rick Santorum (and others) are paranoid losers propped up by a Nazi pope.  PERIOD.  And what did Jesus Christ have to say – FORCEFULLY – about HYPOCRITES?  Maybe you should read your Bibles, Mr. Romney the bully and Mr. Paul Ryan and Mr. Rick Santorum.  And I have a suggestion.  Don’t rely on “traditions” and THEN go to the Bible to dredge up your stinko stuff.  That’s called proof texting.

Romney is a paranoid bullying loser propped up by the money extracted from the members of his faith – as the elders in Salt Lake City command.

Where, Mr. George H.W. Bush, in the supposed “liberal” mainstream Media, do we hear what I just said?  NO WHERE.  Screw your “new world order,” Mr. Bush … and Mr. Romney.  Screw your “kinder, gentler nation” horse shit, Mr. George H.W. Bush.  HYPOCRITES – as Jesus Christ said.

All of you have a hidden agenda.  Push gay people back into the closet or into drag.  I despise drag and I don’t wish to be pushed back into a closet.  There are gay people who might like drag, too.  Let them like it. That is the freedom we are SUPPOSED to have in the USA, but which the witches of the right wing wish to deny us.

Consider this.  There are many of us who truly are gay and are gay for many reasons, some of which consist of physical things like genetics and hormones and such.  But the reason for being gay is not limited to physical reasons, either.  But are there gay Ayn Rand worshipers who also maintain a hidden agenda?  Are there gay people who pretend to be gay in order to NOT take responsibility for ones self in society and make loads of money?  After all, with no kids to raise, a gay man can become filthy rich, don’t you know?

And that is the irony of the platform of the Republican Party.  The position of that evil party is to trash gay people who are responsible, in favor of the Ayn Rand type of gay man or woman.  Trash the ones who are responsible, then use an iron-fisted approach to those who insist on being outside the closet.  Deny these responsible people finances and jobs and healthcare and retirement, don’t you know?

The gay couple who wishes to adopt a child from overseas.  Trash them because they don’t fit the “traditional” definition of a family.  But the promiscuous ones?  Well… just don’t do it in front of us – same with you promiscuous heteros… just keep it quiet … and DON’T GET CAUGHT… or else!  LOL!  Shallowness! LOL!

The gay couple who wishes to live a private life in a committed relationship, rather than cruise the streets and bars.  Trash them, too.  But the ones who get their jollies from multiple partners – either hetero OR homo… why… just let them do their thing – the Ayn Rand way… go down low… with multiple partners…. be irresponsible, but … OH!  don’t get caught doing it.  And LOL!  Shallow laugh!

Jesus Christ:  “Satan is the father of the lie.”  Jesus Christ:  violent reaction against DECEPTIVE business people bilking the masses as they went to the synagogue.

Ayn Rand encourages promiscuity.  Domestic partner and marriage / civil union laws acknowledge what Jesus Christ said.  Ordination of gay clerics allows the ministering to those who are being responsible in committed relationships and having to face the horse shit of bullies like Romney – who apparently has Romnesia.

And yes, I may not be an executive like Lee Iacocca who published the words I just used.  But I am no different from someone who has money – and don’t you forget it.  Position does not give more rights to do something that others cannot do – and that includes the elevated position some people give the representative of Satan himself – the pope in Vatican City… or the elders in Salt Lake City.  If you are a bully, you are a bully, Mitt Romney.  It matters not how much goddamn money you have, Mittney, when you use if for evil purposes – like ship jobs overseas.

Ayn Rand followers promote promiscuity, whether it be in the heterosexual or homosexual communities.  These are shallow people who lack compassion for their fellow human beings.  “Down low” deceptiveness is okay, but not committed relationships and responsible families, regardless of sexual identity.  They sucker in those of institutions like Palm Beach Atlantic University and other institutions promoting the destruction of gay people.  Even those of us who are AGAINST abortion, but believe legislation of morality, a failure for centuries, is NOT the approach to use.

Nasty politics from nasty people who lack compassion.  These people promote a vicious form of capitalism called crony fascist capitalism – based on Ayn Rand and Libertarian evil beliefs.  I prefer the type of capitalism NOT modeled after Vatican City and Salt Lake City.  I prefer democracy and democratic capitalism which consists of free market capitalism and nixes the huge corporate conglomerate monopolies which don’t compete, but destroy their competition.  I prefer the model of capitalism of the ‘trust buster” and Republican who ran for president exactly 100 years ago – Teddy Roosevelt.  Teddy Roosevelt and Nelson Rockefeller and Jacob Javitz were all better Republicans than the lot we have today which consist of evil people.

And that is the problem with the paranoid Taft family of Ohio.  That election of 1912 split the Republican Party in half.  Teddy Roosevelt had more people who believed his PROGRESSIVE REPUBLICAN way, but nasty right wing Howard Taft – with the smallest numbers – insisted in being right.  Think about it.  Where is the Taft family of Ohio today?  What impact did that family have on the 2004 election?  Think about it.  Where are the Teddy Roosevelt folks today?  I’ll tell you.  They are being brushed aside by nasty Republican fascists today.

The ones who deserve respect are the responsible gay people today, not the Ayn Rand irresponsible ones.  But nasty politics brush good people aside – as the nasty politics destroy good RESPONSIBLE people, too.  The people who have actually worked hard to EARN their money, rather than take from others.

I Support President Obama and the Democrats

I support our leader, President Barack Obama.  I support most of the ideals of the Democratic Party.

I find the Republican Party message to be offensive and fascist.  It’s a message from a bunch of people unwilling to negotiate, whether those negotiations take place across the aisles in Congress, at a collective bargaining negotiation session, or at the diplomatic negotiating sessions in the Middle East.

I am against handouts, so therefore find some of what Democrats support to be offensive. But it’s far better than what I hear on the Republican side, particularly the narrow vision of the Republicans with regard to civil rights and related social issues.

I would prefer to see a Federal agency like the WPA replace unemployment benefits.  I would prefer to see the military spend some of its money on “defense” projects such as our American infrastructure which, when could reverse crumbling infrastructure such as dams and levies (to name a few) which leave us vulnerable in some situations.  The Army Corps of Engineers, for instance, could handle such projects.  I would prefer a mandatory 2-year military service time for all American youth and part of that could be work on infrastructure projects.

I would prefer such projects provide enough money to feed those who are involved in them.

But I have heard no such proposals from EITHER of the political parties.  Nevertheless, based on historical facts about the impact of these two political parties, I choose the Democrats.

I don’t make my decision based on a candidate’s personality, although there are times when that does make a difference.

I don’t make my decision based solely on the person, but I make my decision based on the people who surround the person.  There are racist and bigoted goons surrounding Romney and Ryan.  I don’t like hateful, mean-spirited people and recognize that a vote for Romney / Ryan provides ammunition and power to such goons.

I also recognize that we are human beings and at times need to recognize that President Obama is not perfect.  I need to reduce the expectation of perfection.  My apologies to the president for comments I made on this blog  a year or so ago.  But it is tough, at times, to deal with what is heard coming from the fat negative putrid mouths of many of the president’s detractors.  I do remain consistent in attacking such negativity and false commentary.

If millions of people believe false and stupid information, it does not suddenly make that information correct.  It just means that many people are stupid and unable to discern fact from fiction.

If a large number of people wish to use a “simple majority” to impose rules and regulations upon a minority of people, this is NOT democracy, but is no different from the genocide imposed by Hitler upon minorities and upon the genocide imposed by Saddam Hussein upon the Kurdish people.

Just because a “simple majority” makes a decision which adversely impacts a group of people, does not validate the decision as one of democracy.  The best example of this is:  Dixie Jim Crow Laws imposed by a “simple majority” of white folks upon people with a different color of skin.  Another example of this:  denial of homosexual monogamous relationships and the legal contracts which define such relationships and allow people in those relationships to adopt children and create a family (also called same-sex marriage).

To invoke Jim Crow Laws and exclusive heterosexual marriage laws – or any laws that adversely impact a minority of people, there should be a UNANIMOUS decision by all involved with the issue.  Period.  Then true democracy has been practiced.  So why do we waste our government tax dollars considering such stupid issues when there are more pressing issues at hand?

Suggestions for America

Make a truly democratic legislature in Washington.  Forget the crap with ethnic this and ethnic that.  Make all America one America.  Direct democracy is difficult and time-consuming for Americans.  They would not, on the whole, participate.  Do the next best thing.  Expand the size of the House of Representatives.  The current formulas and the horse s*** of gerrymandering needs to go.  Simply place one representative from each county (or parish in Louisiana) in the House of Representatives.  Make the geographic boundaries the voter boundaries.  People would understand it better.  Return the control of the Senate to the governors of the states (as originally written in the Constitution) rather than what is happening today – people THINK they are voting for a senator, but in reality it’s the American Politburo – the U.S. Chamber of Commerce which has purchased these guys to sit in the Congress.  If people don’t have a voice in the senator chosen, then at least place it back in the indirect hands of the people – an elected governor.  But the House of Representatives should be based on a representative from each county.

Actually, the same should happen in the Florida State Senate and House.  The Florida Senate:  one representative from each county.  The Florida House of Representatives should consist of one representative from each municipality.  People don’t understand the numbering of all these different districts.  No one is able to remember the district numbers.  Make it easier for THE PEOPLE.  Lawyers – the career politicians – understand it.  The lobbyists understand it.  The people don’t understand this horse s*** in Florida and America today.

The idea of districts, Electoral College, and all this other stuff is antiquated – established by people who did not have the telecommunications we have today.  We need a change.

We need to also stuff the birds like Rick Scott and their wealthy greedy friends who steal from the people.

Solutions for America

Eliminate the Electoral College.  Eliminate the presidential political conventions.  A waste of money.  Consolidate all presidential primaries into one national one the beginning of October, with an election day holiday for all.  Hold the presidential election in November as always, but make election day a holiday for all.  Replace the Electoral College with a third election holiday – a runoff election of the top two candidates for president.  Open up the field for qualified candidates not tied to a political party.  Let the people decide in a true democracy.  Eliminate the money which now provides all the decisions.  Sounds simplistic.  It is.  So let’s do it.  Simplify the election process and throw away the lawyers and greedy Ayn Rand moneymakers who make it too complex.
